DJ Lars Eidinger: Anti-Disco-Party

The Ruhrfestspiele are a festival, a celebration for everyone. Naturally, no festival is complete without a proper party – especially in a season with the motto "Pleasure and Loss". Pleasure, ecstasy, liberation, and intoxication have always been essential components of great art. Lars Eidinger last graced the Ruhrfestspiele stage in 2019 and many of us still fondly remember the sensational party that followed his performance. This year he finally returns to our main stage with a musical reading of Bertolt Brecht's "Die Hauspostille." After his stage act, he will once again switch to the turntables to host his legendary "Anti Disco Party" in the foyer of the Ruhrfestspielhaus. What to expect? High spirits, marvelous encounters, and lots of exuberant dancing to the surprising and eclectic soundtrack provided by DJ Lars Eidinger.
