Håkon Kornstad

Solo saxophone, flute, flutonette, voice, live looping

In his solo concert, the multi-award-winning jazz saxophonist Håkon Kornstad lives up to the promise of his 2011 album "Symphonies in My Head": almost everything is improvised, tracing the symphonies in his head. The Norwegian brings his versatile musical talent to the stage. He is not just an internationally acclaimed jazz saxophonist, but also a classically trained opera tenor. The loop machine, which is used at his concerts, also enables the soloist to create expansive soundscapes that gradually develop into orchestral accompaniment.
