Hannes Weyland

In a time when pop live shows happen via a DJ booth, Hannes Weyland seems almost old school. Real instruments, no loops, no technological knickknacks, but still up-to-date. Following his acoustic EP “Fluchtwagen” (2016), his new single “Gold” ventures into the foray of electric pop with prominent synthesisers and a distinct jazzy feel. He is living proof that German pop music can be intelligent and ambitious.
