The Mundorgel Project

With around 14 million sold copies, "Die Mundorgel" is the most successful German songbook of all time. Its songs about the moon, early morning dew, and mountains, written for campfires and hiking trips, are the starting point for a new musical series: "The Mundorgel Project." Invented at the Schauspiel Dortmund, it returns to the Ruhrfestspiele for a third time this year. Its originators are on the road wherever informal, communal singing brings people together, inspiring audiences with their wild new interpretations of famous tunes.
