The Tiger Lillies are a British cult band that has invented their very own brand of Brechtian avant-garde punk-cabaret. For more than 30 years the London-based provocateurs have toured seedy pubs as well as renowned theaters all over the world. The Tiger Lillies love to explore musical margins: they delve into the world’s darkest recesses with a unique blend of cabaret, vaudeville, street ballad, and gypsy chanson. Even before they rose to fame with their hit musical “Shockheaded Peter” the musical trio found beauty in the macabre and grotesque.
