Party, Party, Party!

Once more, Ruhrfestspiele are going out with a bang. Our legendary after-show parties proved to be a wonderful occasion for artists and audience members to mingle and share their thoughts and experiences. Building on last year’s success, we cordially invite you to celebrate our festival with us in 2020.

The first party will happen after the premiere of “Der zerbrochne Krug” on 15 May. You are also more than welcome if you haven’t attended the performance.

The second party on 6 June starts off with live music by 9T Antiope, a successful Iranian duo providing electro-abstract-experimental sounds. They will be joined by the crew, performers, and creatives of Deutsches Theater Berlin, Schaubühne and kainkollektiv, as well as the young talents of Folkwang Universität der Künste and students participating in this year’s Festical Campus. Our Kohlefoyer will be packed to the brim, so make sure you join us for the festivities!

The final and biggest party happens on 13 June to celebrate the last day of our festival. A double event will commence the festive occasion: Jan Plewka and Schwarz-Rote Heilsarmee perform at Kleines Haus and the French Cirque Inextremiste offers a delectable open-air circus performance. After that, everyone is free to celebrate in and around the Ruhrfestspielhaus. Free admission!
