Fressen

von und mit Henrike Iglesias

„Men“ eat steaks and spare ribs. They drink beer and belch afterwards. They never use napkins and are always hungry.
„Women“ on the other hand love to eat a plain mixed salad and some berries for breakfast. They only want a small piece of cake and share their pizza.
„Women“ cook, „men“ eat. Lots of sexism in my schnitzel.

In their new show, queer-feminist theatre collective Henrike Iglesias take a look at the sexism and double standards concerning food and nutrition. Part cooking show, Fressen sheds a light on juice cleanses and Size Zero and deals with our society’s obsession with eating: To eat or not to eat, that is the question!
