The dream of exchanging ideas concerning the big questions of our time with dead philosophers will become a reality at the Ruhrfestspiele. With the help of the algorithmic sound montage "The Philosophy Machine" by the performance group Interrobang, you can enter into a lively discussion with great thinkers of the 20th century: meet Hannah Arendt, Karl Jaspers, or Ernst Bloch. And you can do so conveniently via telephone. In the process, you will discover that philosophers from the past have surprisingly up-to-date answers to current developments. Curious? Then we suggest a thought-provoking visit to the audio installation before, during, or after a performance at the Ruhrfestspielhaus.
